As you plan for Commencement, there are several things that you will need to know and several important dates for you to remember. We know that Commencement is an important milestone in your life, and you will want to share it with your friends and family.

Tickets
Each graduate will receive up to six (6) guest tickets. Tickets will not be issued to graduates who are not participating in the ceremony. Tickets may be picked up in the Frame Hall Admissions Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning April 20th. A photo ID is required to receive tickets.
*If you cannot pick up your tickets in person or if you previously indicated you were attending on your graduation application and your plans have changed please complete this form.

Watch your student email for notification of the availability of additional tickets, if any, after April 27th. Ivi 4 712 tv.

Degree candidates who are unable to obtain their tickets in advance should contact the Admissions Office at 814-676-6591, ext. 1211 no later than April 24th. Your tickets will be held for you to pick up at Commencement rehearsal on Thursday, April 30th.

If you and/or your guests require disability accommodations, please let us know so that we can make seating and/or parking arrangements.

Spring Graduates Congratulations! It is time to reserve your cap and gown!

  • Click on Caps and gowns and preorder your regalia. Payment is not due online when ordering. Payment is due at the time of pick up. If you would like your set shipped just contact the bookstore after April 15th with your shipping address and payment information. (814) 393-2696.
  • Pick up regalia at the Bookstore beginning Wednesday, April 15th during our Grad Fair. Jostens will be here with special pricing on your rings or announcements. They do not have to be picked up that day .We will keep them for you up to Graduation Day.
  • This includes Venango and online graduates as well. If you would like your cap and gown to be taken to the Venango Store let us know after April 15th.
  • Hoods for the graduate students will be available at the time of pick up. They do not need to be preordered. If you are having it shipped you can tell us which one you need when you call with the shipping information.

The deadline for ordering is March 5th.

We will have extras at the bookstore starting April 15th. They will be first come...preordering is the best way to make sure you have a perfect fit for your special day!

Clarion 2 2019 Calendar

Rehearsal

Rehearsal for Commencement will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 30th in the Rhoades Center gymnasium. All graduates who are participating in the ceremony are highly encouraged to attend.

Commencement

Shuttle service from the First Energy parking lot across West First Street will be available beginning at 4:45 p.m. for your convenience. Please don't arrive prior to 4:45p.m., as the gymnasium will be locked until that time.

Clarion 2 2019 Full

Student robing for the ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, May 1st. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. After the ceremony, there will be refreshments for you and your guests to enjoy and celebrate, compliments of the Venango Campus Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

Limited space is available in the auditorium for overflow seating and for those who must bring young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
